It works like a charm!
I tested it in a Zephyr v2 with last versions of all "images" available.

what about patching the config blocks? the latest versions of xell will use the correct MAC address from your config blocks when booting linux.
Another question would be, would the patched smc that you patch in have to be encrypted or decrypted? I know the keyvault you patch in would be encrypted obviously.
the config blocks are 3de and 3df

for got to mention a way to update xell either from block 30 on or block 40 on would be great. these 2 addresses because dependign what kind of nand image your running xell resides in a different address.

Hello JeffJ,
the config blocks are not yet copied from the original image. It will be done before the final release of Toolbox 1.09. The keyvault is indeed encrypted. The SMC is supposed to be a decrypted and patched SMC. The toolbox will create the correct SMC binary file, if it has a set of patches for the SMC in your original image. If it doesn't, you will have to look for a set of pre-patched SMCs "at the usual places".

every toolbox works for me exept 1.08 and 1.09 any version. freezez just before extracting or writing, nothing gets read or written. i'm running 1.03 at the moment on a falcon 360 with cygnos rev D. i ran them on windows 7 64bit and my second OS is windows vista 32bit.
i still have the resistors in place and use the new wiring as well(so i can switch back anytime)

Hello rambloid,
are you probably still running a beta version of firmware 1.03? We recently released the final version 1.03? If you flash this firmware, does it make a difference?

Traceback.
Best toolbox released to date. No more messing around with Nandpro.
Maybe for a future toolbox you could include a feature to change region settings in the toolbox itself without having to use another program.
Or getting things out like the fuses, even though you would need to flash it with xell before.
Keep up the good work mate.
Cheers
H

Hello hillsdistrictconsolemods,
your feature request has been noted down :-) Changing region settings itself is rather simple, but requires the knowledge of the CPU key. I think I will make the toolbox parse the output from XeLL and automatically extract the CPU key from it. You can then edit the important fields in the keyvault from within the toolbox.

Sounds good mate. Don't hesitate to send me a email if you need pre-beta testing done. Cheers

Hello peter12,
Cygnos360 V2 will currently run on all consoles, except Jasper consoles with 256MB or 512MB memory. For these consoles, we have made a new revision F which will be available very soon.
