I use toolbox 1.10 beta 5, cygnos rev F, firmware 1.6 and SO windows XP.

I extract the nand several times and always I obtain the same error when I extract SMC, Config and KV:

ERROR UNHANDLED EXCEPTION OCURRED IN LINE 170

i have the same problem on a 256 mb jasper nand dumps fine but kv or smc wont extract and i dont have the cd drive key for this box and i need to be able to get this off.. tried on 64 bit and 32 bit computers using same software as you are same firmware. can someone please point us in the right direction... im sorry im so noobish.

Yes, you are attempting to extract the SMC and KV from a flash + memcard dump, this is a bug in the Cygnos software that is yet to be fixed, it took me a while to figure out.

Instead use Nandpro Rev B to extract SMC,KV and config block using the following commands:

For extraction:

nandpro orig.bin: -r256 smc.bin 0 1
nandpro orig.bin: -r256 kv.bin 1 1
nandpro orig.bin: -r256 config.bin 3de 2

For injection:


nandpro mod.bin: -w256 smc.bin 0 1
nandpro mod.bin: -w256 kv.bin 1 1
nandpro mod.bin: -w256 config.bin 3de 2
